We're recruiting for an Electrician to join an established facilities team in Nottingham, working within a secure prison environment. This role offers a stable, long-term position with structured working patterns and ongoing development.

As an Electrician, you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance on essential electrical systems, ensuring a safe and compliant environment in Nottingham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and preventive maintenance across electrical systems
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs

  • City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Installation (Level 2+)
  • 18th Edition certification (or willingness to update)
  • Experience in maintenance and fault finding
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements
  • Basic IT skills

  • Desirable knowledge of fire alarm and CCTV systems
