What's involved?
As a Chef de Partie with previous hotel experience, you'll play a key role in the kitchen brigade. You'll work closely with a passionate Head Chef to craft delicious, seasonal dishes using fresh ingredients. Whether you're leading a section or helping train junior chefs, your creativity and precision will be visible, and you'll thrive under the pressure of a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting quality dishes for a variety of dining services, using fresh ingredients
- Checking the menu each day and creating a list of tasks to be completed
- Leading your section efficiently during busy service times
- Supporting menu development and bringing your culinary ideas to the table
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Coaching and inspiring Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters
- To carry out any additional duties as requested by the Head Chef or Sous Chef
