Our client is a renowned boutique 3-star hotel, golf and spa resort in Dartmouth, South Devon, with a stunning backdrop of the rolling countryside, water features and calming Devon views. They are looking to recruit a Breakfast Chef to join their friendly kitchen team.

As well as the restaurant, the hotel also caters for many weddings throughout the year, seating up to 100 guests with views across the golf course. The hotel is also popular with meetings and events for up to 200 covers.

Live in accommodation is available, if required.

What\’s involved?

Are you a morning person with a passion for perfectly poached eggs?

As the hotel\’s Breakfast Chef, you will solely be responsible for starting the guests day the right way by whipping up a storm with a delicious breakfast! You will work from 7am until 3pm, cooking breakfast items for the buffet, however on quieter days of 20 covers or less during the winter months, breakfast service will change to a plated service.

Breakfast covers fluctuate from 30-70 covers during peak season, with a daily average of around 50 covers.

Once breakfast service has finished, you\’ve prepared yourself for the next day and cleaned up, you will then assist the kitchen team with lunch service for the restaurant, ensuring that you follow food hygiene procedures and company guidelines at all times.

The successful candidate for this position will have previous chef experience in a similar operation.
