We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Inventory Coordinator to join a growing distribution operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with inventory control experience who enjoys improving processes, maintaining high levels of stock accuracy, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory accuracy and product master data.
- Lead cycle counting and stock control activities.
- Monitor stock levels, ageing stock, and inventory performance.
- Produce reports and provide recommendations to improve efficiency.
- Support warehouse layout optimisation and space utilisation.
- Manage stock destruction processes in line with compliance requirements.
- Assist with audits and ensure adherence to GDP, Health & Safety, and company procedures.
- Support new client onboarding and inventory-related projects.
- Supervise a small team of warehouse operatives and provide training where required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across inventory operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, or warehouse operations.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent attention to detail and compliance awareness.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of GDP standards and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Forklift/IPATH licence (or willingness to train).
- Experience with temperature-controlled products.
- Previous involvement in customer or regulatory audits.
