We are currently recruiting dedicated and reliable HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to work with leading waste management and local authority clients in and around the Swadlincote, Derbyshire area.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Safely and legally operate a Class 2 (Category C) refuse collection vehicle.
- Navigate designated residential and commercial routes within Burton and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough daily vehicle checks (walk-arounds) and report any defects.
- Work closely with your driving crew/loaders to ensure collections are completed on time.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and road regulations.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with the public.
Essential Requirements
- Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence.
- Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC) and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence (for insurance purposes, no major endorsements).
- Good geographical knowledge of Swadlincote and the surrounding areas.
- A reliable, hardworking, and flexible attitude.
