Platinum People Recruitment is looking for a Class 1 Tramper Driver for ongoing work in Nantwich. 4 ON / 4 OFF shift pattern.
Responsibilities:
- Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all road regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Deliver goods to various locations as per scheduled routes.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety practices and vehicle maintenance.
About the job:
- Role of Class 1 Tramper Driver 4 on / 4 off
- Distance work with approx 2 curtain side drops daily
- Great kit with microwave, fridge, TV etc in vehicle
- Breaks and parking paid
Qualifications:
- Valid Category CE Licence min 12 months
- Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 minimum 6 months
- Strong driving skills
- Excellent driving record with no major violations
Pay rates:
- £17.23 inc holiday pay
- £25.81 night out
