The Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our busy Service Department as a Trainee Service Advisor. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career within the automotive industry, supported by structured training and development. You will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience, acting as the link between our customers and our workshop team in a fast-paced and friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and welcoming experience for all customers
- Accurately capture and document customer requirements and concerns
- Carry out vehicle walkarounds and support with service inspections
- Clearly explain recommended work and service requirements
- Prepare and communicate accurate cost estimates
- Schedule service and repair appointments efficiently
- Liaise with technicians to ensure work is completed on time
- Maintain regular communication with customers, ensuring satisfaction throughout their journey
About You
- Previous customer service experience and drivers licence is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- A proactive approach with good problem-solving abilities
- Basic IT skills for system use and record keeping
- An interest in the automotive industry (knowledge is advantageous but not essential)
