Platinum Motor Group has an exciting opportunity for a Parts Advisor to join our busy and friendly Parts Department at our Platinum KGM, Omoda & Jaecoo dealership in Frome. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced automotive environment and delivering excellent customer service. Covering maternity leave you’ll play a key role in ensuring our workshop and customers receive the right parts quickly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing stock, assisting customers, and supporting our technicians to keep everything running smoothly. This is a temporary contract initially for 6-9 months, this contract may extend up to 12 months and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate stock control of parts and supplies
  • Assist customers in identifying and ordering the correct parts for their vehicles
  • Deliver outstanding customer service both in person and over the phone
  • Process parts orders, deliveries, and returns efficiently
  • Work closely with technicians to ensure parts are supplied promptly
  • Manage and track parts warranties
  • Keep the parts department clean, organised, and well presented

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a parts department or automotive environment is preferred
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and general systems
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and telephone manner
  • A proactive, customer-focused attitude
