We are recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday in Hatfield. This role undertakes maintenance and repair, as required under contract.

Our Maintenance Engineers are key to our business and our client relationships. You will need to not only be able to deliver the best maintenance and repair service, but also go above and beyond to ensure our client has the best experience and an excellent partnering relationship with Platinum Facilities.

The Key Duties of this Role are:

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports, ensuring all tasks are completed within contractual timescales.
• Carry out Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and complete the associated paperwork.
• Be on a call out rota to provide the client with full out of hours cover.
• Proactively reduce energy consumption on site.
• Supervision of visiting sub-contractors with regards to standard of work and Health and Safety.

Technical Requirements:

• Qualified to City & Guilds Level III or equivalent in Mechanical discipline (essential)
• Completed City & Guilds BS 2391 Level 3 Electrical Inspection & Testing (desirable)
• Experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment including boiler plant, ventilation, pumps and generators.
