Platinum Facilities Maintenance Services are a leading provider of building maintenance and engineering solutions across London and the South East. We deliver exceptional service to a portfolio of prestigious clients and iconic buildings, ensuring their facilities run safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
We are now looking for experienced and motivated Electrical & Mechanical Engineers to join our mobile team, carrying out planned preventative maintenance across a number of our clients' sites in the heart of the City of London.
The Role
As a Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality planned preventative and reactive maintenance to both mechanical and electrical systems across our clientsβ buildings.
- Monday β Friday - 08:00 to 17:00 (flexible)
General Duties include (not limited to):
- Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork (logs and reports).
- Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks as required.
- Work on various contracts and client sites as requested, fulfilling the requirements of the client SLAs.
- Be on a call out Rota to provide the client with out of hours cover when required.
- Document control - reporting, logs via CAFM System.
- Experience of Facilities maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment including: boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable).
- Knowledge of and experience in BMS/Generator/Controls/Lighting Systems/ACOPS L8 β desirable.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical or equivalent β Essential.
- Qualified to City & Guilds Level 2 Mechanical or equivalent β Essential.
- 18th Edition - Desirable.
- 2391 Electrical Inspection & Testing - Desirable.
- Experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment including: Emergency Lighting, Tap Temperature testing, boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power, and lighting.
