Fantastic opportunity for a skilled and seasoned M&E Engineer with diverse expertise in both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance to become a part of our team on a static site, located in Kensington, London.

Platinum Facilities are currently on an impressive path of expansion, managing a continuously increasing array of captivating sites and contracts and welcome all applications that fit within the specifications of this position.

The Key Duties of this role are:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and complete relevant documentation.
  • Carry out all reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and complete relevant documentation.
  • Be on a call out rota to provide the client with full out of hours cover.
  • Proactively reduce energy consumption on client sites.
  • Supervision of visiting sub-contractors.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety policies.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Qualified to City & Guilds Level III or equivalent in relevant discipline (essential).
  • Skilled in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering with the associated knowledge (essential).
  • Good knowledge and experience of plumbing and sanitary ware, drainage systems, LPHW, pressure & ventilation systems, ACOPS L8 and cooling tower systems.
  • Good knowledge and clear understanding of Electricity at Work safe working practices.
  • Knowledge and experience in BMS, generator, controls and lighting systems.
  • General Fabric Duties.
  • Experience of maintenance, testing and fault finding on a variety of equipment.
