As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical systems within this high-profile building located in Bishopsgate. This role is perfect for a dedicated professional who values precision, reliability, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Our Maintenance Engineers are key to our business and our client relationships. In this role you need to not only be able to deliver the best maintenance and repair service, but also go above and beyond to ensure our clients experience an excellent partnering relationship with Platinum Facilities.
The Key Duties of this role are:
- Execute regular PPM tasks on critical mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and building services, to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Respond quickly to mechanical faults, diagnosing and repairing issues to minimise downtime and maintain the building’s operations.
- Oversee the upkeep of mechanical equipment, ensuring that all assets are functioning efficiently and effectively.
- Provide exceptional service to clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and expertise.
- Be on a call out rota to provide the client with full out of hours cover.
- Proactively reduce energy consumption on client sites.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety policies.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Split Shift: 07:00am-16:00pm & 10:00am-19:00pm
Qualifications and experience required:
- Mechanical Certification Level 2 or Level 3 Mechanical C&G/NVQ or equivalent – Essential.
- 3-5 years of industry experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within a commercial or high-profile building – Essential.
- Experience of maintenance, testing and fault finding on a variety of equipment.
- Knowledge and experience of BMS/ Generator/ Controls/ Lighting Systems/ ACOPS L8 (desirable).
- Knowledge and experience combined with valid Certificate on High Voltage systems (desirable).
