Platinum Eco Services Limited is a friendly, growing SME based in Worthing, supporting energy efficiency and retrofit-related services. We also work with wider group brands, including Ecoversal, so this role will involve a varied mix of website, digital design and marketing support.
We are looking for a creative and practical Web & Digital Designer to help us improve our websites, create digital content, and support the team with professional visual materials. The role is based at our Worthing office. Hybrid working may be available, but applicants should be within reasonable commuting distance and able to work from the office regularly.
About the role
This is a varied role for someone who enjoys working across websites, digital design, social media content and occasional printed marketing materials. You will help us maintain and improve existing WordPress websites, support modern frontend projects, and create professional visual content for campaigns, social media, leaflets, mini booklets and one-page printed materials. You will not be expected to work on backend development, but you should be comfortable working around websites, frontend layouts and digital content.
Responsibilities
- Update and improve existing WordPress websites
- Design attractive, responsive web pages and landing page content
- Support frontend content for modern web projects, including projects using Next.js
- Create graphics for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms
- Design leaflets, one-page documents, mini booklets and simple printed materials when required
- Prepare visual assets for campaigns, promotions, company updates and internal communications
- Help keep brand visuals consistent across websites, social media and marketing materials
- Work with the team to turn ideas into clear, professional and engaging designs
- Use AI tools wisely to support research, design ideas, content preparation and creative workflows
What we're looking for
- Experience with WordPress website updates and page design
- A strong eye for design, layout and visual consistency
- Good understanding of responsive web design
- HTML and CSS basics
- Experience creating digital graphics for websites and social media
- Ability to prepare simple print-ready materials
- Experience with tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, CorelDRAW or similar
- Good attention to detail
- Clear communication and ability to work with different people across the business
- Confidence using AI tools in a practical and responsible way

- Experience with Next.js or React-based frontend projects
- Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap knowledge

- Basic SEO knowledge
- Copywriting or content editing experience

Who this role would suit
This role would suit a mid-level designer, but we are also open to a strong junior candidate who can show a good portfolio and a willingness to learn. You do not need to be a full-stack developer. We are looking for someone who is creative, practical, organised and comfortable producing professional digital and visual content for a growing business.
Working arrangement
This is a full-time role based in Worthing, with hybrid working available depending on workload and business needs. Applicants should be within reasonable commuting distance and able to work from the office regularly.
