My client is a leading structural focused engineering business with focuses on various buildings - Residential, commercial, theatre, hospital and even art! This company is very employee focused with huge amounts of benefits and a strong focus on employee development.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting the day to day running of structural projects.
  • Visiting sites, occasional drafting, preparing calculations and specifications, for checking fabrication and reinforcement drawings as and when required.
  • Developing your design knowledge for British Standards and codes in concrete, steel, masonry and timber. In addition you will develop your skills in refurbishment.
  • Continuous dialogue with architects and design team members and sometimes clients.
  • Be aware of all billing aspects for the projects you are involved in via Coretime.
  • Occasionally may be asked to attend marketing activities.
  • You will be responsible for some projects assigned and checked by your Associate.
  • To take responsibility for your own development asking for assistance when required and proposing to attend training courses where appropriate.
