We’re working with a growing building services contractor delivering reactive and planned works across major retail and commercial clients. Due to an increase in fire compliance works, they’re looking to bring in experienced Joiners, ideally with fire door experience, to support projects across the North. This is a mobile role, working across sites including retail, distribution and commercial environments.
The role will involve:
- Installation and replacement of internal fire doors
- Fire door remedial works and compliance
- General joinery works across live environments
- Supporting wider fabric works when required (ceilings, partitions, etc.)
- Reactive call-outs and planned works
What they’re looking for:
- Qualified or time-served Joiner
- Strong experience installing and working on fire doors
- Any fire door accreditation (FIRAS/BM TRADA) is a bonus
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexible approach to travel and working hours
Package:
- £16.00 – £17.00+ per hour (higher for fire door experience/quals)
- Company van, fuel card and uniform provided
- Overtime regularly available
- On-call rota (1 in 7) – £150 standby
- Call-out paid minimum 4 hours (time + half, then double time)
