We’re working with a well-established construction and civil engineering contractor who are looking to bring an Estimator into their London team. They have a strong pipeline of work across concrete repairs, structural repair and civils, and this role offers the chance to be involved in a range of technically interesting projects while supporting a busy preconstruction function.
What you’ll be doing:
- Producing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for civil engineering and structural repair projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation to fully understand scope
- Sending out and analysing subcontractor and supplier enquiries to build competitive pricing
- Working closely with preconstruction, commercial and operational teams
- Identifying risks, opportunities and value engineering options within tenders
- Supporting the wider bid process where required
