We’re looking for an Electrical Estimator to join a specialist division focused on control panels, site modifications, and installation projects within industrial and commercial environments. This role centres around producing accurate estimates and tender submissions for a range of electrical works, including panel design and site-based installations. You’ll work closely with internal design and delivery teams to ensure solutions are commercially viable, technically sound, and aligned with client specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate estimates and tender submissions for control panels and site‑based electrical works
  • Compile component specifications and pricing in line with client requirements
  • Review and interpret technical specifications and drawings
  • Support the tender process alongside internal sales and design teams
  • Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain relevant cost information
  • Attend site visits and surveys where required during the tender stage
  • Ensure all estimates and documentation meet quality, safety, and company standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency within estimating processes
  • Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure commercial accuracy and margin protection
Requirements
  • Proven experience in electrical estimating (ideally within panel build, controls, or similar environments)
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation practices
  • Experience producing tender submissions and cost breakdowns
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to produce accurate and competitive estimates
  • Comfortable liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders
  • Relevant electrical qualifications or background preferred
