We’re looking for an Electrical Estimator to join a specialist division focused on control panels, site modifications, and installation projects within industrial and commercial environments. This role centres around producing accurate estimates and tender submissions for a range of electrical works, including panel design and site-based installations. You’ll work closely with internal design and delivery teams to ensure solutions are commercially viable, technically sound, and aligned with client specifications.

Key Responsibilities- Produce accurate estimates and tender submissions for control panels and site‑based electrical works
- Compile component specifications and pricing in line with client requirements
- Review and interpret technical specifications and drawings
- Support the tender process alongside internal sales and design teams
- Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain relevant cost information
- Attend site visits and surveys where required during the tender stage
- Ensure all estimates and documentation meet quality, safety, and company standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency within estimating processes
- Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure commercial accuracy and margin protection
- Proven experience in electrical estimating (ideally within panel build, controls, or similar environments)
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation practices
- Experience producing tender submissions and cost breakdowns
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Commercial awareness with the ability to produce accurate and competitive estimates
- Comfortable liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders
- Relevant electrical qualifications or background preferred
- Strong blend of practical and theoretical electrical knowledge
- Detail‑oriented with a high level of accuracy and organisation
- Commercially aware and capable of understanding project cost drivers
- Confident making informed decisions based on both design and real‑world application
- Proactive and collaborative in approach
- Motivated to develop technical knowledge and progress within the business
- 35 days annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing to 38 days with service
