As the Head Barista at our Central London location, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers. This permanent, full-time position is ideal for an entry-level candidate eager to develop their skills in the hospitality and catering industry. You will lead a team of baristas, ensuring high standards of service and product quality, while fostering a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our brand values.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the coffee bar, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Train and mentor junior baristas in coffee preparation techniques and customer service skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and equipment.
- Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure the bar is well-stocked.
- Create and implement seasonal drink menus to enhance customer offerings.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and gather feedback.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
Qualifications:
- Passion for coffee and a desire to learn about different brewing methods and coffee origins.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a café or restaurant setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
