About the role

We are currently looking for a MiFID Transaction Reporting Analyst. You will produce and oversee the MiFID Transaction Reporting (RTS22) submissions, as well as support the team with other regulatory submissions (MiFID Trade reporting, EMIR, SFTR, etc.) and any new transaction‐based regulatory reporting when required in the future.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsibility for the daily production, delivery and oversight of RLAM's MiFID Transaction Reporting BAU submissions.
  • Undertake the associated BAU assurance activities in collaboration with compliance and RLAM's assurance partner.
  • Carry out remediation work as required where issues are identified across processes and reporting.
  • Review the existing reporting processes and control framework to identify enhancements and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and deliver necessary reporting process change to maintain compliance with an evolving regulatory reporting and business change environment.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as well as regulatory inspections in relation to the firm's reporting obligations.
  • Complete daily and monthly reconciliations involving multiple sets of data to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Produce periodic MI for presentation on various board and committee meetings as well as statistics packs for external clients.
  • Liaise with both external clients and internal departments for fast and accurate resolution of queries and exceptions.

What you bring:

  • Knowledge of MiFID Transaction reporting obligations, relevant instruments, reporting technical standards and associated industry guidance.
  • 2–3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Prior experience in regulatory assurance or QA activities is an advantage.
  • Prior experience of MiFID reporting solutions is an advantage.
  • Demonstrable expertise in data analysis techniques, problem solving, root‐cause analysis and clear communication of conclusions to senior management.
  • Experience working within a regulatory‐driven agenda and assessing regulatory impacts on business and operations.
  • Operating across businesses and functions such as Compliance, Legal, Technology and the Business with demonstrable negotiation, influencing and relationship‐management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and effective stakeholder management.
