Assembly Technician | Witney, Oxfordshire | £30,000 - £33,000 An innovative engineering and manufacturing business is seeking an Assembly Technician to join its growing production team. The Role Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for assembling precision mechanical products and sub-assemblies while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and productivity are maintained. You'll play an important role in delivering products to customers on time while contributing to ongoing process improvements within the manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities +Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies into finished products. +Operate production equipment and material handling equipment safely. +Perform basic product testing, inspections, and quality checks. +Identify and report equipment faults or production issues. +Maintain clean, organised, and safe working areas. +Ensure components are assembled to the required specifications and tolerances. What We're Looking For +Previous experience within a mechanical manufacturing or assembly environment. +Experience assembling mechanical products using fasteners, adhesives, or bonding techniques. +A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ or equivalent) or relevant hands-on industry experience. +GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
