I’m working with a specialist precision engineering business that is looking for an experienced CNC Finishing Technician to join their Machine Shop team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hands-on finishing experience who takes real pride in producing high-quality, precision components.
The role:
- Hand deburring and precision finishing of CNC-machined components.
- Removing burrs, sharp edges and machining marks to both cosmetic and functional standards.
- Finishing tight-tolerance, high-value and customer-critical components.
- Operating rumbling/vibratory finishing equipment where required.
- Using a range of hand and powered tools including files, stones, scrapers, emery, Scotch-Brite, pencil and die grinders.
- Preparing components for anodising, coating, plating and assembly.
Minimum role requirements:
- Proven experience as a Deburr Operator, Precision Finishing Technician or similar.
- Strong experience in high-end cosmetic and functional finishing.
- Experience working with materials such as copper, aluminium, stainless steel, titanium and aerospace-grade alloys.
- Knowledge of rumbling/vibratory finishing processes.
- Ability to work to tight tolerances without affecting critical dimensions.
Location: Weybridge
Salary: £27k-£32k
