My client is a leading precision manufacturing business seeking an experienced Quality Manager to take ownership of their Quality Management System and drive quality excellence across a high-mix CNC machining environment.
You will have a strong background in quality engineering within a CNC machining, precision engineering, aerospace, automotive or advanced manufacturing environment.
Essential Experience- Experience managing quality systems within a precision manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, PFMEA, MSA and process capability studies
- Expert understanding of GD&T and metrology techniques
- Hands-on experience with CMMs and precision inspection equipment
- Proven track record leading customer quality activities and quality improvement projects
- Strong understanding of SPC and statistical analysis
- Experience conducting root cause investigations and implementing permanent corrective actions
- Audit experience within ISO 9001-regulated environments
