A growing technology company with commercial deployments already underway is looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support production, service engineering and ongoing product development activities. This is a varied role within a fast-moving engineering environment where you will work closely with R&D, Supply Chain and external manufacturing partners to help deliver complex electro-mechanical products used within highly regulated industries. The position would suit someone who enjoys practical problem solving, fault finding and continuous improvement, and who is happy to take ownership across a broad range of manufacturing and engineering activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting goods-in inspection activities and investigating supplier non-conformances
- Providing first-line manufacturing support to subcontract partners
- Diagnosing, repairing and testing returned customer equipment
- Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Supporting ongoing engineering and development projects within the laboratory environment
- Managing asset tracking and calibration processes for tools and measuring equipment
- Driving improvements across manufacturing processes, quality systems and documentation
Requirements:
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical products
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills across electronics and test systems
- Experience working with subcontract manufacturers and component suppliers
- Experience operating within quality systems such as ISO9001
- PCBA or cable assembly
