My client, a well-established manufacturer within the heating and appliance sector, is looking for a Service Engineer to support customers across the South East. This role focuses on servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of gas, electric, and solid fuel appliances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out warranty repairs and annual servicing of heating appliances
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely
  • Maintain and service showroom and customer appliances
  • Deliver high levels of customer service during site visits
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately
  • Travel across the South East region and occasionally further afield when required
  • Build strong relationships with customers and dealers

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a field service or maintenance engineering role
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage a regional workload
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Relevant gas or electrical qualifications advantageous
