My client, a well-established manufacturer within the heating and appliance sector, is looking for a Service Engineer to support customers across the South East. This role focuses on servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of gas, electric, and solid fuel appliances.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out warranty repairs and annual servicing of heating appliances
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Maintain and service showroom and customer appliances
- Deliver high levels of customer service during site visits
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
- Travel across the South East region and occasionally further afield when required
- Build strong relationships with customers and dealers
Requirements
- Previous experience in a field service or maintenance engineering role
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage a regional workload
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant gas or electrical qualifications advantageous
