As the organisation continues to grow its UK presence, they are looking for a Senior AIT RF Communications Engineer to join their team, based in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading technical role within complex satellite programmes, overseeing integration and test activities and helping deliver high-performance RF payloads from integration through to environmental qualification and acceptance.
As Senior AIT RF Communications Engineer, you will lead a team of multidisciplinary AIT engineers and take responsibility for delivering RF payload integration and test campaigns to schedule, quality and cost requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of multidisciplinary AIT engineers throughout full integration and test campaigns.
- Perform payload integration activities and RF payload verification and testing.
- Carry out functional testing, performance verification and end-to-end payload testing.
- Support link budget validation, RF chain characterisation, redundancy testing and interface verification.
- Develop test scripts, monitoring tools and automated test solutions.
- Produce and maintain AIT documentation, including integration procedures, test procedures, and reports.
