My client, a global engineering and industrial technology business, is looking for a Sales Manager to drive growth across a designated UK territory. This role will focus on developing key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering sales growth across a range of industrial products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Deliver product presentations and promote technical solutions to customers
  • Manage the preparation of quotations, proposals, and commercial offers
  • Negotiate contracts and orders while maintaining profitability targets
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting through CRM systems
  • Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for business growth
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer support and project delivery

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a technical sales or business development role
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Experience selling to the paper-making industry
  • Ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage key accounts
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the UK
