An exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop into an Operations Manager within a growing technology business.
We're working with an innovative, fast-growing business looking for a motivated and practical individual to join its operations team. As the company continues to expand across the UK and internationally, this is an opportunity to take on increasing responsibility, develop your skills and play a key role in supporting its growth.
This role would suit a graduate with around two years of relevant experience who is keen to progress their career in operations, with the opportunity to develop into a broader management position over time.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the maintenance and reliability of equipment across customer sites.
- Coordinating reactive and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment uptime.
- Helping plan and deliver new site installations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability and operational efficiency.
- Supporting the implementation of equipment upgrades and process improvements.
- Monitoring operational costs and identifying opportunities to improve processes.
- Investigating equipment issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Working closely with engineering, production, purchasing and commercial teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
About You
We're looking for someone with the potential to grow into the role, rather than someone who has already done it all.
You'll ideally have:
- A degree or equivalent experience in engineering, operations or a related technical discipline.
- Some experience in operations, maintenance, project coordination or a hands-on technical environment.
- A practical, proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A willingness to get hands-on when required and learn how equipment works.
- An interest in technology, engineering or operational improvement.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
