I am currently working with an innovative organisation operating at the forefront of the UK space industry, developing cutting-edge satellite and space technologies for commercial and government programmes. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Senior Production / AIT Planner to their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in production planning, manufacturing engineering or assembly integration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and managing production schedules and AIT workflows
- Creating and maintaining manufacturing routings and work instructions
- Coordinating engineering, procurement, quality and manufacturing teams to resolve production issues
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Managing production data, risk registers and progress reporting through ERP/MES systems
- Supporting configuration control and compliance with industry quality standards
