Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for both direct and indirect materials, ensuring alignment with production and operational requirements.
- Source, evaluate and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance through agreed KPIs, driving improvements in quality, delivery, cost and service.
- Lead commercial negotiations for supplier contracts, pricing agreements, payment terms and service level agreements.
Essential Experience & Skills
- A minimum of five years' procurement experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Demonstrable experience managing supplier relationships and delivering measurable cost savings without compromising quality or delivery performance.
- Ability to understand technical documentation, including engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Previous experience within electronics, semiconductor or other high-technology manufacturing sectors.
- Knowledge of electronic components and global supply chain dynamics.
