An innovative technology manufacturer operating within the advanced imaging sector is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead its purchasing function. The business designs and manufactures high-precision electronic products supplied to global customers across medical, scientific and industrial markets. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for both direct and indirect materials, ensuring alignment with production and operational requirements.
  • Source, evaluate and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors.
  • Monitor supplier performance through agreed KPIs, driving improvements in quality, delivery, cost and service.
  • Lead commercial negotiations for supplier contracts, pricing agreements, payment terms and service level agreements.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • A minimum of five years' procurement experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Demonstrable experience managing supplier relationships and delivering measurable cost savings without compromising quality or delivery performance.
  • Ability to understand technical documentation, including engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Previous experience within electronics, semiconductor or other high-technology manufacturing sectors.
  • Knowledge of electronic components and global supply chain dynamics.
