Our client is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to manage and grow their business across Northern England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. This is a field-based role focused on developing new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market presence and supporting scientists with technical solutions that improve laboratory productivity.
The Role:
- Develop new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle within the territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through regular visits and communication.
- Deliver product demonstrations and training, helping customers select suitable laboratory solutions.
- Maintain accurate sales records and track pipeline activity using the company CRM system.
- Represent the company at exhibitions and events while monitoring market trends and competitor activity.
About you:
- Degree (BSc or higher) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience working with chemists or researchers in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, CROs, biotech, research, or chemical manufacturing.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets or developing customer relationships.
