Salary: £60-£80k
Platform Recruitment has partnered with an innovative technology company developing mission-critical systems used by organisations worldwide. They're looking for a Principal Software Engineer to help shape the technical direction of their platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture and implementation of systems in C#/.NET
- Build low-latency applications handling high-volume data traffic
- Drive technical vision and mentor engineers across the team
- Oversee code reviews, coding standards and CI/CD pipelines
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years C# and .NET Core
- Strong distributed systems and microservices background
- Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar messaging technologies
- Proficiency with TCP/IP, gRPC and high-availability xwwtmva protocols
- Performance tuning, concurrency and multithreading expertise
- Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD familiarity
- Relevant degree
