I’m currently recruiting for an Electronics Engineer to join a rapidly growing technology and R&D organisation in the Bristol area. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge electronics, RF, FPGA and embedded systems, developing innovative solutions for complex technical challenges.
You’ll join a highly technical engineering team working across the full development lifecycle, from early-stage research and concept development through to hardware design, prototyping, testing and trials.
The Role
As an Electronics Engineer, you’ll work on a variety of fast-paced R&D programmes, with a particular focus on radio frequency and communications technologies.
Responsibilities will include:
- Analogue and digital hardware design
- RF and software-defined radio development
- FPGA and System-on-Chip (SoC) technologies
- Embedded systems and microcontrollers
- Sensors and signal processing technologies
- Hardware prototyping, integration and testing
- Producing technical requirements and design documentation
The Ideal Electronics Engineer
You’ll ideally have 3+ years’ commercial electronics or hardware engineering experience and a strong background in some of the following:
- RF / Radio Frequency electronics
- Analogue and digital electronics
- Communications systems
- Sensors and signal processing
- Hardware design, build, test and debugging
- Prototype or pre-production development
This position would suit an engineer who enjoys technically challenging R&D work and wants exposure to innovative technologies across RF, electronics, FPGA and embedded systems.
