A specialist engineering organisation operating in a highly regulated, security-cleared environment is seeking an Electronics Production Engineer to join its Operations function. This role sits within the Production Engineering team and focuses on optimising manufacturing processes for complex electronic systems across an established product range. You will work closely with design and production teams to ensure new products are introduced with robust build processes, test equipment, jigs, and fixtures, while also supporting fault diagnosis, repair, and continuous improvement across the existing product line. This is a hands-on, technically broad role requiring strong electronics knowledge, manufacturing process expertise, and the ability to support both new product introduction and series production delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage standards, methods, and procedures for the design, modification, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment (jigs, fixtures, tooling) and production processes.
  • Develop and deliver production plans, build documentation, and route cards for engineering projects from final design through to series production.
  • Develop best practices to improve production capacity, product quality, and manufacturing reliability.
  • Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including New Product Introduction.
