Industrial Designer (New Product Development)\\n£40,000 – £60,000 | South Coast | Hybrid (Office-based with some flexibility)\\n\\nI’m working with an established and rapidly growing outdoor-products manufacturer who are looking to bring on a talented Industrial Designer to help develop their next generation of adventure gear and accessories.\\n\\nThis is a brilliant opportunity to join a close-knit, design-led team where great ideas genuinely shape the product range. You’ll take ownership of projects from initial concept through to production, collaborating with engineers, suppliers and the wider creative team to deliver functional, high-performance designs that stand up to the elements.\\n\\nWhat you’ll be doing:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Designing and developing innovative soft and hard goods for outdoor and lifestyle products.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Translating ideas and sketches into detailed CAD models, drawings, and prototypes.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Leading on material and CMF (colour, material, finish) strategy to ensure consistency and durability.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Building and testing prototypes, iterating based on user feedback and field testing.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Working closely with manufacturing partners to bring new designs through sampling and into production.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Supporting marketing and brand teams to ensure design intent flows through to final presentation.\\n\\nWhat they’re looking for:\\n\\n * \\n\\n A degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or similar.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ideally 3+ years’ experience in industrial design, preferably within soft goods, outdoor, or performance-product sectors.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong 3D CAD ability (SolidWorks or similar) and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Hands-on approach to prototyping, materials, and testing.\\n\\n * \\n\\n A creative problem-solver who can balance aesthetics, function, and manufacturability.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Someone passionate about outdoor adventure and product performance.\\n\\nSalary: £40,000 – £60,000 DOE\\n(My client is happy to consider applications from both mid-level and senior designers.)\\n\\nIf you’re a designer who loves taking products from concept to reality and wants to see your work make a real impact in the adventure gear space, I’d love to hear from you
