My client, a specialist engineering organisation operating within the defence and maritime sector, is looking for an ILS Engineer to support the delivery of advanced navigation and mission systems for naval customers. This role will focus on Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring systems are delivered with effective supportability and maintainability solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of ILS strategies, plans, and bid responses
- Deliver ILS activities in line with defence and industry standards
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and support publications
- Conduct supportability, maintainability, and reliability analysis
- Assess engineering changes and update logistics support data accordingly
- Liaise with customers, stakeholders, and internal engineering teams
- Support training, spares, obsolescence, and lifecycle management activities
- Ensure all ILS activities comply with company and customer requirements
Requirements
- Degree-qualified engineer or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in an ILS Engineering role
- Knowledge of Defence Standards and ILS methodologies
- Experience with supportability, maintainability, and logistics support analysis
