My client is a highly successful manufacturer of specialist engineering and science products. They are looking for a Managing Director to join their expanding team. You will possess a dynamic and application driven approach to the sales process and the drive to achieve ambitious growth goals. You must inspire the organisation to be customer focussed to attain top line revenue growth and improve profitability.
Main Duties:
- Providing inspired leadership company-wide
- Making high level decisions about policy & strategy
- Developing & implementing operational policies and strategic plans
- Providing direction
- Designing organisation structure & staffing for growth and profitability
Knowledge/Experience required:
- Experienced as a Managing Director
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing management/similar
- Experience in sales of technical equipment
- Scientific/Imaging background
- Ability to train, develop, motivate and manage teams
- Experiences with significant operations improvements and revenue growth
Salary/Other Details:
- The salary for this permanent role is circa £100k-£150k per annum, and comes with a 25% bonus
- The role is based in Cambridge, onsite 5 days per week
