We’re hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer on behalf of a global engineering client working at the forefront of fuel injection technology. Based in Kent, this role focuses on the design and development of high-precision diesel fuel injection systems used across commercial and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design high-pressure fuel injection components and systems
- Create 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings
- Apply DFMEA and GD&T in design reviews
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure DFM and cost-efficiency
- Analyse test data to support continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
- 5-10 years’ design experience
- Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, NX or CATIA)
- Experience with GD&T, DFMEA, and DFM principles
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
