Due to continued growth, they're looking for an Engineering Technician to provide practical support across testing, prototyping, equipment maintenance and laboratory operations.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative engineering team where you'll play a key role in supporting product development from concept through to verification, helping engineers bring new products to market.
The Role
As an Engineering Technician, you'll provide practical engineering support across testing, prototype builds, equipment maintenance and documentation, ensuring projects run smoothly while maintaining high quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up, carry out and monitor tests on products, components and assemblies following defined procedures.
- Assemble prototypes, test rigs and electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Carry out PCB assembly, soldering and rework.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on workshop and laboratory equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance, calibration and testing records.
- Manage stock levels of components, consumables and workshop materials.
About You
We're looking for someone with
- Experience in a hands-on engineering, laboratory, workshop or manufacturing technician role.
- Strong practical skills with the ability to assemble, build and modify prototypes and test equipment.
- Experience with soldering, PCB assembly and electronic test equipment.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
