My client, a global manufacturing and technology business, is looking for an Accounting Manager to lead its regional finance operations. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for financial reporting, team management, compliance, and process improvement across multiple international entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the accounting team, including performance management and coaching
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with US GAAP requirements
  • Oversee month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis
  • Manage relationships with shared service centres and outsourced providers
  • Support cash management, forecasting, payroll, and supplier payment processes
  • Act as a key contact for internal audits and compliance activities
  • Drive finance process improvements and system enhancements
  • Support wider European and global finance initiatives

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar
  • 5+ years' experience in accounting or finance leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial controls
  • Experience managing teams and outsourced service providers
  • SAP experience and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience within a multinational manufacturing environment advantageous
