We are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join a leading advanced manufacturing business supporting the communications, defence, space and transportation industries. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company focused on delivering world-class products within a Lean Manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Quality Management Systems in line with corporate and internal standards
- Lead activities relating to change control, concessions, non-conformance handling and software releases
- Conduct internal audits to ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards
- Drive Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations using problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and FMEA
- Support assembly, inspection and testing of micro-components and precision manufactured parts
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience within a Quality Engineering role in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Internal Auditor certification for ISO9001 and/or ISO27001
- Strong understanding of RCCA methodologies, 8D and FMEA techniques
- Knowledge of legislative standards including RoHS, REACH and SCIP
- Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab or JMP
- Experience working with electronic products
