This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in product development, working closely with design engineers, manufacturing teams and external certification bodies to ensure products remain compliant throughout their lifecycle.

The Role

As Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for driving product compliance from concept through to production while ensuring products continue to meet evolving international regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product certification activities across a range of international standards.
  • Manage relationships with third-party certification bodies, coordinating submissions, testing, audits and renewals.
  • Review new product designs early in the development process to identify compliance risks.
  • Prepare and maintain technical files, certification records and Declarations of Conformity.
  • Monitor changes to industry regulations and translate new requirements into engineering actions.
  • Support investigations and corrective actions relating to compliance issues.

About You

You'll be an organised and proactive engineer with experience navigating product certification within an industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of one or more key compliance standards such as ATEX, IECEx, UL, CSA or CE.
  • Experience managing certification projects with external testing laboratories or notified bodies.

This is an opportunity to become the technical lead for compliance within a growing engineering business. You'll have the chance to shape certification strategy, influence new product development and build strong relationships with international certification bodies while helping bring innovative industrial products to global markets.
