  • Implement and tune DSP algorithms (AEC, AGC, EQ, compression, noise suppression) on embedded platforms
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, mechanical and software engineers to integrate audio seamlessly into ruggedised handhelds.
  • Troubleshoot and refine acoustic performance throughout prototype, validation and production stages.
  • Continuously evolve design tools, test methods and processes to push audio performance even further.

What you’ll bring

  • Degree in Acoustics, Audio Engineering, Electronics or related discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience developing audio systems for handheld or consumer devices
  • Deep understanding of microphones, loudspeakers and acoustic system design.
  • Hands-on experience with acoustic test equipment (Audio Precision, HATS) and simulation tools (COMSOL / FEA).
  • Proficiency in DSP concepts and tuning, ideally with MATLAB, Python or C/C++.
