My client, a well-established engineering manufacturer, is looking for a Sales Engineer to drive growth across the UK and Ireland. This is a customer-facing role combining technical expertise with business development, focused on expanding market share and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new business opportunities and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Grow and manage existing customer accounts
- Plan and execute regional sales activities and customer visits
- Engage with customers using both consultative and transactional sales approaches
- Collaborate with internal teams to support market coverage and lead generation
- Manage sales activity through calls, emails, and follow-ups
- Proven B2B technical sales experience
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Technical aptitude or engineering background
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven
- Willingness to travel regularly across the UK & Ireland
