My client is developing advanced deep tech solutions and has an opportunity to join as a Principal Electronics & Software Engineer on their experienced team.
Overview
You'll be joining a truly multidisciplinary team with no shortage of projects working on highly complex engineering challenges. The role will focus on advanced R&D solving real-world problems, and involve some mentorship of top junior and undergrad engineers.
Your responsibilities
- Work as part of the R&D team on client assignments in multi-disciplinary projects
- Design and implement systems for deep tech applications & products
- Take advantage of opportunities to develop your technical design skills for analogue and digital hardware, information engineering, embedded software, control, communications and whole product design
- Interact with stakeholders, both technical & non-technical to discuss ongoing projects & requirements
About you
We're looking for applicants with the following experience or skills:
- An 2:1 or above degree, or PhD in a relevant discipline
- Prior industrial experience in at least one of the following areas, and enthusiasm for learning about the others:
- Software implementation in C, C++, Rust, or a similar programming language
- PCB design
- Digital electronics (processors, memory, DSP, Verilog, VHDL)
- Analogue electronics (general, interfaces, RF, power)
