We are currently recruiting for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Farnborough. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established company supporting industrial, commercial and military sectors across the UK and internationally.
- Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Investigate supplier-related quality issues and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rejected materials and improve supplier performance.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement and engineering teams to support quality and compliance objectives.
- Support production teams by identifying process improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain audit findings, compliance reports and quality documentation.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding corrective actions, design changes and first article inspections.
Minimum of 3 years experience within a Quality Engineering role in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience conducting supplier audits and managing supplier quality activities.
- Proven problem-solving experience using Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement tools.
- Knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques and tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
This role will involve travel to suppliers across the UK and occasionally Europe, so flexibility to travel and a driving license is essential.
