Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement PR strategies that integrate traditional media (TV, radio, print) with digital and socialâfirst campaigns.
- Lead podcast crossâpromotional appearances across the slate to maximise discoverability and audience growth.
- Liaise with talent agents and talent managers to coordinate contracted PR deliverables.
- Act as the primary liaison with journalists, editors and media outlets, proactively pitching stories and securing and executing press opportunities.
- Build and maintain a robust network of media contacts across lifestyle, business, sport and pop culture verticals.
- Craft Podcast launch and episodic press releases, media kits and briefing documents.
- Organise and manage media events, interviews, launches, press briefings, and junkets, collaborating proactively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor coverage and industry trends, using insights to inform campaign optimisation.
- Track and report on campaign performance, including coverage, reach, engagement, media value, sentiment, and impact on audience growth.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in public relations and communications, with the ability to deliver integrated multiâplatform campaigns.
- Experience working within a media agency or inâhouse communications team.
- Experience within the podcast, audio, entertainment, or content industry is highly desirable.
- Proven success in securing national and regional press coverage across social, print, online, and broadcast.
- Strong working relationships with topâtier journalists, publisher pages, editors, and producers.
- Deep understanding of social media trends, influencer culture, and digital storytelling â with the ability to identify and amplify PR worthy moments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for persuasive and compelling story telling.
- Energetic selfâstarter, comfortable in a fastâmoving environment and skilled at reacting quickly to changing priorities.
- Experience managing media events and coordinating with stakeholders across departments.
