About The Role:
We’re looking for a proactive, commercially aware Senior Account Manager to join the growing Account Management team at Platform Media. As a Senior Account Manager, you will lead the day‑to‑day delivery of campaigns and projects across a portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact while partnering closely with your Account Director to align on wider strategic direction and commercial priorities. You will play a central role in keeping projects on track, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring work is delivered to the highest standards across media, marketing, and production.
This role offers the opportunity to work across some of Platform Media’s biggest shows and podcasts from being on set at recordings to supporting branded content shoots, working alongside some of the most recognisable and exciting talent in the industry. You’ll see campaigns come to life first‑hand and help ensure flawless execution from concept through to delivery. This is a hands‑on role with meaningful ownership, with responsibility for executional excellence and day‑to‑day account performance, while collaborating with senior leadership to support long‑term growth across your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management and Delivery: Act as the primary day‑to‑day contact for clients within your portfolio. Build strong, trusted relationships while escalating strategic or commercial matters to your Account Director where appropriate. Lead status meetings and ensure clear communication across stakeholders. Maintain high standards of service delivery across all live projects. Support in delivering against agreed objectives and KPIs.
- Project Management and Execution: Oversee timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects. Work closely with production, media, channel, talent and commercial teams to ensure smooth execution. Anticipate risks and problem‑solve proactively. Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope and financial parameters. Take ownership of operational delivery, ensuring internal teams are aligned and accountable.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work alongside your Account Director to support account strategy and growth planning. Contribute insights, recommendations, and performance learnings to inform future campaigns. Support the development of scopes of work, proposals, and renewal discussions. Work with your Account Director to shape new ideas and provide suggested improvements.
- Commercial and Performance Oversight: Support budget tracking and financial accuracy across your accounts. Help identify organic growth opportunities within client relationships. Ensure reporting is accurate, insightful, and demonstrates clear value. Use data and results to inform recommendations and optimisations.
- Team Contribution: Contribute to a collaborative, supportive and solutions‑focused team culture. Support continuous improvement in processes and ways of working. Someone who leads by example, always acts in a professional manner and upholds client service standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience managing campaigns or accounts within media, marketing, production, or agency environments.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident client‑facing communication and presentation skills.
- Commercially aware with a solid understanding of financial fundamentals.
- Detail oriented and data‑driven.
- Proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced creative environment.
- A collaborative team player who works effectively with senior leadership.
If you don’t meet every requirement but believe you’d be a great fit, we’d love to hear from you.
