About The Role:

We’re looking for a proactive, commercially aware Account Manager to join the growing Account Management team at Platform Media. This is an exciting opportunity to work across some of our biggest shows and podcasts. As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery of campaigns and projects across a dynamic portfolio of clients. You'll be the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships while also working closely with the wider team, including Account Directors, supporting with wider strategic direction and commercial priorities. This role offers the opportunity to oversee campaigns end-to-end, from being on set at recordings to working with some of the most exciting talent in the industry, through to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management and Delivery
    • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients within your portfolio.
    • Build strong, trusted relationships, escalating strategic or commercial matters to your Account Director where appropriate.
    • Lead status meetings and client calls, ensuring clear communication across stakeholders.
    • Maintain high standards of service delivery across all live projects.
    • Deliver against agreed objectives and KPIs.
  • Project Management and Execution
    • Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
    • Work closely with production, media, channel, talent and commercial teams to ensure smooth execution.
    • Anticipate risks and problem-solve proactively.
    • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope and financial parameters.
    • Support continuous improvement in processes and ways of working.
  • Commercial and Performance Oversight
    • Support budget tracking and financial accuracy across your accounts.
    • Contribute insights, recommendations, and performance learnings to inform future campaigns.
    • Ensure reporting is accurate, insightful, and demonstrates clear value.
    • Utilise data and results – including weekly reporting and post-campaign analysis, to inform recommendations and optimisations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–3 years’ experience managing campaigns or accounts within media, marketing, production, or agency environments.
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confident client-facing communication and presentation skills.
  • Commercially aware, with a good understanding of financial fundamentals.
  • Detail-orientated and data-driven.
  • Proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment.
  • A collaborative team player who works effectively with senior leadership.
